Why Pineapple Hill?

The pineapple has been a symbol of hospitality since the days of the early American colonies. According to legend, the symbol began with the sea captains of New England who would spear a pineapple on a fence post outside their home to let the community know of their safe return home and to invite friends to visit and share their hospitality.

Likewise, we hope Pineapple Hill Designs boutique will make you feel “Welcome”! We know how important it is to find something special for that certain someone or just the right accessory to complete a room. We believe everyday is a day to celebrate, and we have just the thing to help you create something special out of the ordinary.

Year of The Frog

Many years ago, I nicknamed my adorable dad "Frog". I don't even remember exactly how it happened. I've been told when I was a little girl in Jacksonville Florida,on a foggy day, I would say,"it sure is froggy outside".
Frog and The Girls
I think my dad got a big kick out of that. My children have all grown up calling grandpa "grand-frog"and now we have 2 little grandaughters who lovingly call him "great-frog". Needless to say, we love Frogs! Great-Frog and Grammie
Since 2008 is the Amphibian Ark "Year of The Frog", we just had to celebrate in honor of "Frog"!

We've added a "Frog" category under

Check it out! We're adding some new items this week.

These would be perfect for my husband's aunt. She collects anything and everything frog. We may have to spread the word about these over to her family for christmas gifts.

My sister collects frogs, but he looks to big to sit on her shelf. :-) I think that's a unique nickname, and something cute to pass on. Fun!
