Why Pineapple Hill?
The pineapple has been a symbol of hospitality since the days of the early American colonies. According to legend, the symbol began with the sea captains of New England who would spear a pineapple on a fence post outside their home to let the community know of their safe return home and to invite friends to visit and share their hospitality.
Likewise, we hope Pineapple Hill Designs boutique will make you feel “Welcome”! We know how important it is to find something special for that certain someone or just the right accessory to complete a room. We believe everyday is a day to celebrate, and we have just the thing to help you create something special out of the ordinary.
Marshmallow Smooches
|
Matthew Mead |
Soft, subtle, and unexpectedly delicious (just like a smooch), these easy-to-assemble treats are inexpensive to make and will look great in a heart-shaped chocolate box. Create an assembly line on your kitchen island and crank out dozens of valentine gifts in just one hour.
What you’ll need:
11 ounces dark or milk chocolate
36 or so candy-coated chocolate pieces, such as M&Ms or Rees’s Pieces
Directions:
Melt the chocolate in a microwave oven or in a bowl over hot water. Place a dollop of chocolate on the top of each marshmallow with a pastry bag and tip or a teaspoon. Top with a piece of candy.
Allow smooches to cool before moving into paper candy cups and heart box.
Enjoy!
